The course supplies to the student thorough knowledge of the theory and treatment of the data obtained using the modern analytical techniques. Selected laboratory practices on the course topics will hold.
The student will know the equipment available to analysts, the errors inherent in all results and statistical ways of handling those results and their errors.

Course program
The analytical process: sampling and sample preparation, statistical methods in analytical chemistry, validation and quality assurance processes. Electroanalytical methods: cyclic voltammetry, amperometry and chronoamperometry, further voltammetric techniques, stripping voltammetry for trace analysis, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, scanning electrochemical microscopy, photoelectrochemistry. Advanced separation techniques: Field Flow Fractionation, Capillary electrophoresis, UHPLC, nanoLC. Immunochemistry. Analytical Spectroscopy. Automation, miniaturization and simplification of the analytical processes: Microfluidic system, Lab on chip. Selected laboratory experiments.
